Former President of Addis Ababa University, Professor Andreas Eshete, appointed as Advisor to the PM, Minister without portfolio.

It has been reported that Professor Andreas Eshete has resigned from his post in the University at the beginning of this week, on Monday, March 7/2011.

According to news by the Amharic weekly Ethiopian-Reporter on Wednesday, the appointement was made on March 4/2011.

Professor Andreas Eshete is a reputed scholar who attended IVY league Universities of USA and is UNESCO’s Chair for Human Rights and Democracy.

Andreas Eshete’s appointement is the 31st Ministerial appointement since Prime Minister formed a new Cabinet last October.
