Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa (a.k.a. Finfinne) is the capital city and the largest city in Ethiopia, with a population of 3,384,569 (2007 census).

It is the seat of the African Union and host to numerous other continental and international organizations, thus dubbed “the diplomatic capital of Africa”.

Addis Ababa is a chartered city accountable to the federal government. The current mayor is Deriba Kuma.
