• I don't understand why people are so much interested in the aperance of the PM on the TV or Radio. In the past he appreared million times where have you been? Surprisingly if the PM comes to your house believe me you say he is not the PM its his ghoast.

• I think millions of Ethiopians will undertsand me because as a citizens we share common dreams. But with few we cannot understand each other even if we post coments for the next 3000 years because they have a dream and the diffenece is that I have already seen practically their dreams with nothing good except poverity, killing and opperession.

Remember we were holpless for many years despite our oposition to the derg in Universities but none of us could defeat that huge bathalions. Ethiopia is now going through a new vission of peace, eqality, development and tolerance and the people have already tasted the friuts of ...... Trying to revers this history might become playng with fire, a fire that will destroy all of us. The current situation might not satisfay the residues of the old regimes but I am sure in 2050 all will be satisfied where we will undestand each other.

    Wake up to reality. The terrorists that waged war on Ethiopia, terrorized and destroyed Ethiopia as much (if not worse) as Derg, are no hero but dangerous imbeciles who are taking Ethiopia hostage.

  • Kopra,I agree on your position on Mengistu's regiem;it had a vision to untie Ethiopia from it's entanglement but the regiem itself was tied with nonsense communist politics as much as most of the earlier years of EPRDF government and don't have a clue as to where to start.Where as,the older hegmonies were ruled by those that never had the chance to educate themselves with modern teachings.Even then they have tried thier best to modernize thier country under situations that were quite unfavourable for modernization.The business people as well as the educational level of citizens bear a lot of weight on what EPRDF achieved in the past some years regardless of the visionary leadership quality of Pm. Meles Zenawi and the global business environment.By the way,some of the ministers of HIM were initiating local business people to run shops around merkato which by then was wholly dominated by foreigners. Look at the situation from this point of view.
