The aircraft carrying the Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi was force-landed in Ouagadougou last month, the Amharic bi-weekly Ethiopian-reporter reported on
According to the report, the plane, Boeing 737, had to force-land few minutes after taking off from Ouagadougou airport, since the cockpit window of the aircraft was dangerously shattered. The cause of the shattering is a ‘spark’ on the window.
The PM had to stay in Ouagadougou Hilton for another 6 hours before another Ethiopian Airlines aircraft, Boeing 767, brought him home.
