Ethiopia promoted 35 Generals today, according to the news from the Ethiopian state media.
The military promotions announced today is the first since September 2012 when 34 Colonels were promoted to the rank of Brg. General, while 3 Brg. Generals became Major Generals. (Please read: Ethiopian Army: 37 General officers promoted for the list and further details)
Today, the Ethiopian National Defence Forces saw the appointment of 35 new Generals.

What will be useful is the position these officers hold within the army. Without that the list of names are meaningless, don’t you think?
Also, is this part of the ongoing ‘replacement’ process started in 2010?
